In order to further improve the transparency of drug evaluation and approval, effectively guide the drug R&D application and drug clinical application, China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) recently issued an announcement, which released the List of Traditional Chinese Medicines and Natural Medicines Approved in 2015, the List of Chemical Drugs Approved in 2015 and the List of Biological Products Approved in 2015.

In 2015, CFDA approved 76 registration applications for marketing traditional Chinese medicines and natural medicines, 241 registration applications for marketing chemical drugs and 25 registration applications for marketing biological products.
